The objective of the Women's Recreation Association is to provide opportunities in recreational activities, dance, gymnastics, and a variety of sports to all women students of the college. WRA sponsors volleyball, softball, basketball and individual and dual all-school tournaments. Basketball and volleyball sports days are held throughout the year with teams from Missouri and Iowa being represented.

WRA also sponsors several groups including Field Hockey and Modern Dance. Modern Dance is an activity which takes the form of creative art. The students explore space techniques and forms in an attempt to develop their bodies as an effective medium of communication.
