Many brochures share the same front cover with others, so those displayed are examples from the first year a particular design was first used. It includes information about the day&#8217;s schedule as well as about each of the authors and members of the committee. The first child sits plainly against the &quot;C&quot; in &quot;Children's.&quot; The second child is laying on his stomach, both feet in socks with one foot kicked up. The third child sits in a beanbag chair with her book propped against bent knees. The footer reads, &quot;April 15, 1991. Student Union Building. The individual leaves in the branches can be made out distinctly by their sharp edges. Below this image is the title, &quot;Children's Literature Festival,&quot; and below this, &quot;18th annual.&quot; The footer reads, &quot;March 16, 2001. The header reads, &quot;Please join us for the,&quot; which is followed by the image and title, &quot;20th Annual Children's Literature Festival.&quot; The numeric aspect is printed in a curly script. On the immediate left, a cartoon tree sits behind an open book. A semicircle between the tree and the book indicates a head. Below this is, &quot;April 11, 2003,&quot; with curly cues below it. The footer within a dark bar reads, &quot;Truman State University.&quot; All of the content is encased in a grey-appearing border but for a portion of the tree leaves.\" height=\"2525\" width=\"1086\" title=\"2003-Brochure-1\" \/>\n\t<p>To see how much brochures have changed over the years, take a look at the brochure from 2009 (below) and compare it with that from 1983.
